Another Way to Hear Kora
By now, you may have listened to the first episode of my audiobook.
We have tried to make the experience as easy — and rewarding — as possible.
Click. Press play. Listen.
And if you prefer to read while you listen, there is a transcript as well.
But if you have explored the audiobook website, you may have noticed a little RSS logo near the bottom of the page.
What on earth is RSS?
Let me explain.
The acronym can be interpreted a few ways, but my favourite is Really Simple Syndication.
RSS is simply another way of simply following something you simply enjoy online. In this case, simply me! 🌺
Think of it as a delivery service. Instead of remembering to visit the audiobook website every week to see whether a new episode has appeared, an RSS feed can tell a compatible podcast or RSS app when a new episode is available.
The new episode can then appear there automatically.
You don’t need RSS to listen to I Am Kora. If you have signed up to receive the audiobook by email, we’ll send you a new episode every Friday. Click the link and listen in your browser.
Simple.
But perhaps you already use a podcast or RSS app and would rather have Kora delivered there.
That’s what the Follow us on RSS button is for.
Click it, and your app can follow the I Am Kora feed. When a new episode is published, the feed is updated.
No searching. No remembering.
Just another way to hear Kora.
And, as you may have gathered by now, I’m rather fond of another way of seeing — and doing — things. 🌺
Want to try it?
You’ll need a podcast app that accepts RSS feeds. Pocket Casts is one simple option and works on both Android and iPhone.
Copy the I Am Kora RSS feed, paste it into the search in Pocket Casts, and follow the audiobook.
After that, each new episode can appear there automatically.
Once you’ve set it up, you don’t have to go looking for Kora in your email. Kora will simply find you. 🌺
You don’t need to use RSS to hear Kora. It is simply another option.
Simply, another way of listening. 🌺
